A new simple app uses a community-driven approach to identify close contacts of users to identify people who have crossed paths with known COVID-19 patients. Slow the spread of the virus by preventing contagion and the spread of COVID-19. The app has user's permission to access your cell-phone location data and your mobile contact list to trace people who’ve been in touch with known carriers of the virus. That would help identify people who have crossed paths with known patients and therefore identify others who should be quarantined because their paths crossed. Through this technology, contact tracers can establish the sphere of close contacts, and get in touch quickly with participating Cov19Track users who may have been in contact with persons with COVID-19. Earlier notification enables users to take the necessary action sooner. In this way, we can help reduce the risk of the spread of the virus.
